Bence Feher

A software developer from Pittsburgh living and working in Japan.

My name is Bence Feher and I make mobile apps both personally and professionally. I am currently the lead developer and head of mobile app development at Fukui Byora Co. Ltd.

I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Japanese.

Currently, I find myself in Fukui-ken where I live with my wife, our baby, and two cats. When I'm not locked away working on some code, you can usually find me at the nearest sushi bar or race track.

Most of the apps I make are Enterprise and so I can't publish them publicly :(
However, I have a few toy apps that I made just for fun when the idea strikes me just right. I also created and maintain many iOS controls such as BFPaper kit, a library that mimics google's Polymer Material Design for iOS!

Pocket Scrolls is a completely free library application for iPhone based on the Elder Scrolls game series. It features many of the in-game books, journals, letters, and notes from the games: Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard, Morrowind, Shadowkey, Oblivion, Skyrim, and even a few books already made public from The Elder Scrolls: Online!
All of the books are contained within the app so no internet connection is required to use it.

      Features include:

      • Search for books by Title or Author from one omni-bar.
      • Fullscreen image viewer for zooming and panning around in-book images.
      • Page layout like a real book - flip pages instead of scrolling vertically.
      • Place bookmarks on pages to save your place - return to the page with a simple tap.
      • Add books to a list of Favorites for quick access.
      • Browse books by: Game, Author, or Genre.
      • View detailed book information for each book.
      • Multiple color schemes and fonts from the games.
      • Random Book feature helps you discover great books and authors.
      • History of previously viewed books.

For questions, comments, feature requests, bug reports, and anything else related to Pocket Scrolls, please use this form which totally does not forward directly to my trash bin, promise.

I can be persuaded to add features with beer, food, and nice emails, as my life lacks an abundance of all of those things.
